About the Collaborative
The Dr. Bennett Dental Collaborative is a premier study club led by board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Sonia Bennett, based in Chesterton, Indiana. Founded on the belief that exceptional patient care begins with shared knowledge and strong professional relationships, our collaborative is dedicated to advancing the science and practice of dental implantology throughout Northwest Indiana.
We believe the best outcomes emerge when clinicians learn, grow, and innovate together. That is why our study club brings in respected speakers, leaders, and innovators from across the country to share the latest scientific advancements in dental implant treatment. Each session is designed to foster open dialogue, real-world case discussion, and practical takeaways that elevate everyday clinical practice.
In our model, each clinician does the work they trained for. The restorative dentist leads the restorative vision and remains the patient's primary provider. The oral surgeon builds the surgical foundation. Prosthodontists, anesthesiologists, laboratory professionals, and hygienists contribute when their expertise improves safety, predictability, or the final result. No one person does it all, and that is the point.
When you refer, your referral is followed to the letter, findings are always reported back, and your patient returns to your office for restoration and continued care.
We are an ITI Study Club. ITI is the International Team for Implantology. Our sessions are hosted by Dr. Bennett, and every event is posted on our events page.
The collaborative proudly offers continuing education credits to participating dental professionals. Whether exploring breakthroughs in digital workflows or refining full-arch implant treatment protocols, members can expect evidence-based programming that enhances both clinical excellence and patient care.
